Cornerback Byron Maxwell picked off Jay Cutler’s pass to DeVante Parker in the end zone, and would have turned that interception into a pick-six. Safety Reshad Jones also intercepted Cutler in the end zone, hawking down a deep throw from Miami’s new starting quarterback.

I really want to see what Cutler is about now more than ever.

It seems like people are expecting Cutler to become an elite QB all of a sudden. But at age 34, I think we know what he is, and we've known for many years - he's mediocre at best and absolutely awful at worst. Expect turnovers, sacks and mistakes by the ton - because that's who is is and that's what he does.

I think Cutler can match Tannehill's numbers if he stays healthy.

Possibly, but at age 34 coming off an injury-plagued year I think it's unlikely. Tannehill has never won more than 8 games in a season, and I don't think Cutler will win more than 8 this season.

I'd also add that matching Tannehill's stats isn't exactly all that difficult.

Yeah I didn't mean it to be necessarily a big deal. I'm just not sweating the loss of Tannehill.

At this point, I just hope the OL holds up. We don't need Cutler taking tons of hits like Tannehill did...I don't think he can physically handle that type of pressure at this stage of his career.

If Cutler could give us 20 and 10 than I would take that. That might be best case scenario.

Yep. I'd sign up for that right now.

Talking with my brother yesterday and he loves the fins also, Said to him that I can't believe that I'm actually going to have to root for Jay Cutler to be a Good Qb this year because I have never really thought of him as one. Just shows You never know who might end up on your favorite team .

I said the same thing to my friend the other day: "I can't believe I have to root for Jay fucking Cutler!" There's a lot of players on this current team that I really don't like, but Cutler is a whole new level. Ugh.
