FWIW defense does look much better with Timmons and Tankersley out there, though the Saints have been pretty inept on "O" themselves so its hard to tell how much of this is good play.

Maybe it's time to blow this thing up and hope to lose out for a QB. A young team should progress while this team goes backwards. D line gets no penetration, secondary plays soft coverage and everything completes in front of them. O line can create any holes. WR run short routes. TE is no existent(while opposing TE kicks our ass every week. QB play from ANY Fins QB sucks. Coaching SUCKS.

unfortunately can't do that every year. Miami needs a true QB next year and also needs better secondary play. OL is always dissmile because of poor drafting

On the plus side, I'm drinking Blood Marys on a Sunday morning watching football. On the down side, this is some of the worst football I've ever seen. Both teams are about as sloppy as humanly possible.

Gase's playcalling is total crap. I have no idea why the Phins have stopped throwing the ball to Parker, who was having a great game...instead opting to throw bullshit WR bubble screens over and over that are gaining nothing.

I thought we were in for a shootout after the opening drives, with both offenses marching downfield with ease. But since then - nothing. Total yawn-fest, with what seemed like 100 penalties.

Hopefully Gase gets his head out of his ass in the second half and we start seeing some offensive firepower.

Oh, and Tank looks pretty decent. I don't need to see Maxwell anymore...the Phins won't do it, but I'd make Tank a permanent starter. No need to waste time with a dead-man-walking like Maxwell, who is not in the team's future.

Agree on Tank. He's only going to improve, let him play.

Saints will be up 10-0 soon, and that's probably enough points to win, sad to say.

It's a shame such a solid overall defensive effort is being wasted. Well, aside from the lack of QB pressure, that is.
