Historical Lows

This team now has a worse point differential through 9 games than the '07 team, -87 to -81. The '07 team was of course 0-9 at the time. Only the first two Fins teams ('66 and '67) were worse through 9 games than that.

The 294 rushing yards allowed is the third most in a regular season in Fins history. Even the Thurman Thomas era Bills never had that many against them in the regular season.

You have to go all the way back to the infamous '00 MNF Jets game for the last time an opponent had more first downs, and of course it took the jets OT to do it. .

Oh, and also, only two Fins teams have had more losses by 20 or more in a season than this one--and we still have 7 more games left.

(At least the 548 yards allowed wasn't *that* historical, seven more teams have managed to top it. Always a bright side, amirite?  Laughing )
