Score predictions Phins versus Panthers

the Phins seem to do well historically against NFC teams when you least expect it. and these total flops in primetime games has gotta end sometime, right?

I picked the Phins to win last time. I won't make that mistake again.

A road game on national TV against a hot team with an above average defense? Yeah, I'm thinking it's going to be ugly.

The Phins gain 34 yards on the ground and commit 3+ turnovers, and get blown out, 31-3. The Miami FG comes on the game's opening drive, giving Dolfans a glimmer of hope that things may be different this game. They're not.

I'm actually glad it's a Monday night, I've got a scouts camping trip this weekend so Sunday will be just getting back in town.

The good news is all the work from the trip will be over, kids will be in bed and I can enjoy the whole game.

Bad news is, we keep getting embarrassed on national TV every time the Fins are on.

Oh well. Can't win them all I guess.

I will say this. An upset would be awesome. I know I've said this before. I think I feel a glimmer of hope we may get one.

I won't get to watch the game till Tuesday...I have plans Monday night. I'll probably only do a legit "game thoughts" post if the Phins win - and even then it probably wouldn't be up till Wednesday.

I have plans too. My walls need staring at. And yes, I actually see that as a better and more productive option than watching the Fins or football in general these days.

Whose bright idea was it to have the Fins on prime time 3 straight games? How did *anybody* think THAT would end well?

I'm going with my feeling of an upset, albeit an ugly one. Something to do with a missed FG, and both offenses struggle.

My optimism is an overflowing cup filled with the very cream of human goodness.

Two teams headed in opposite directions. Both traded a playmaker on offense before the deadline, but the Panthers got considerably more value for their slightly above average WR than we did for our top 10 RB.

McCaffery will torch us out of the backfield, but I don't expect Carolina to run well on us at all. Nor do I expect us to be able to run the ball. We actually have better playmakers at WR, but I think home field will prevail here. I'll take Gano over Parkey in a FG battle. 16-13 Carolina.

Prepare for Christian McCaffery and Ed Dickson to look like Hall of Famers in this game.

I pick Russell Shepard as star of the game.....Miami has a way of letting unknowns and castoffs to have the best game of their lives. I'm gonna call Shepard for 7 receptions 130 yards and 2 TD's.....LMAO

Looks like I actually will be home for the game, so I'll get to see the Phins get destroyed in real time!

At first, was not too optimistic about this game, but now I feel that they will surprise us tonight. I still don't think they will win more than 7 games, but I see us pulling this one out.

I think we get either a ST or D score, 2 or 3 FG. The D gets 2 TO, 3 sacks and we eek out a close one, 16-13.

Hope you're right, white and scot...but I just don't see it. I'm expecting a really bad game from the Phins.

I just think they will come up with enough pride as to not become the only team to ever lose three consecutive prime time games.
