It's obvious what this team should've done when Tannehill got injured again.

They should've traded for Jimmy Garoppolo, obviously.

Pats would never send him to division rival. SF was perfect destination from their standpoint

Agreed with white1 and even if they did it would have been for something ridiculous

Really, what they should have done is started Matt Moore and made Doughty the #2. That way, you promote the QB that the players love and if/when he gets hurt you have an opportunity to develop a young QB. Plus, you save $10 million that can be rolled over to 2018 and used to re-sign Landry.

Signing Cutler was a colossal mistake - adding a dead end QB and wasting money just destroyed the whole season.

I'm no fan of Moore or Doughty, but I think they could have squeezed out 6 wins like Cutler did...and if they won less than 6, great...we get a higher pick.

The Cutler signing was a disaster on several levels, and it's all Gase's fault.

Gase is headed towards the same fate as every coach who has come and gone, largely, in the NFL for decades.

If you don't find the right QB, you just won't win enough to last long.

He better be right on Tannehill.

Bolded, underlined, and shout from the mountaintop for all to hear.

THIS!

Signing Cutler did nothing.  It was just throwing money out the fucking window.  Hell we could have started Fales "Forward Fast" all year and been in a better position than right now.

Why does this team keep Moore at all?  FFS, Ross, if you need to dump $10 million a year (Cutler), I'm ready to accept.
