Escobar, a former San Diego State standout who was drafted in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys, has played in 64 games with seven starts during his NFL career.

We are so thin at TE, at least we have another one on the roster if our draft plans totally fall through. Which I'm sure they will.

Was drafted to be Witten's likely successor in Dallas, and five years later he's cut by the Browns while Witten is still starting. I wouldn't expect much.

Escobar is huge...but beyond that, he's nothing. Poor blocker and terrible route runner. The Cowboys utilized him as a red zone weapon early in his career, but he simply never developed.

I'd say he's just a camp body...but on the Phins, he just may be a starter. No
