Did Fitz even get an interview? Seems like everyone else did except him. Typical Fins disrespect Evil or Very Mad

Oh there have been lots of worse first picks by this team fo sho. I'm just saying there's been no help for the league's worst LB corps.

I wanted them to get Edmunds and then take the kid from Wake Forest later at FS.

Oh well, at least Armando was wrong about what the Fins would do tonight, and that's the important thing, right? Razz

Also, glad to see NFL Network is calling them the Redskins. Remember that silly PC crap about the name a few years back?

Another trade, not sure who traded up to 14 just yet.

EDIT: Oh, okay. It's the Saints. Betcha they did it for Edmunds.

Fitz was a great pick. Sorry, Edmunds looks like all potential no production.

I like the pick

The ONLY justification I can think of for not getting Edmunds is that he's only 19 and the last guy that young to be drafted (Amobi Okoye) didn't turn out too well.

You've got to remember three things:

1. The Dolphins LOVE Kiko Alonso for some strange reason.
2. The Dolphins use three LBs less than 40% of the time. They have Alonso and McMillan as their top 2, and the third LB won't play much.
3. The Dolphins traded a 5th last year for Stephone Anthony.

All adds up to a position that really isn't valued by the Phins.

I think it's a HUGE mistake, because Alonso blows, Anthony is a JAG, and McMillan has never played in the NFL and is coming off a major knee injury. But our coaching staff thinks the position is set. No

If the Saints gave away next year's first for JACKSON, then they're...nowhere near as smart as I thought.

I'm telling you, they honestly think they can move McDonald to LB. That's the plan, I guarantee it.

All I know is that if the Pats trade up to get Edmunds, I'm going to vomit.

Wait a second here. Now I'm hearing some of my friends are good friends with this guys father. I might be able to snag an autograph picture or something. This draft pick might have some potential here

FYI the '99 draft had five QBs selected in the first 12 picks. Three of them were outright busts, one was good (but not great) for a while and the 5th one was Culpepper.

It was literally not possible for them to screw this up too much, yet they still managed to not really take who they needed to.

Fitz should be good at least. But unless McDonald is moved to LB he's now an albatross.

Love the way the Bills are stockpiling picks and moving around the draft - brilliant. That's what a real GM does. Getting Edmunds is HUGE for that D.

I'm telling you...we're going to hear something REALLY bad about Derwin James.

Nah, that would've happened already. Just the way the draft goes. Someone who everybody *knows* is going in the top 10 falls every single year. It's a cliche at this point.

Seahawks will either take James or trade with the Pats so they do.
