Anyone Else Tired of This?

Enough with the endless offseason hyperbole about this and that. Here is the latest.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/05/16/dolphins-think-danny-amendolas-work-ethic-is-making-the-whole-team-better/

Okay great. Hopefully we do have some better leaders in the locker room with guys like Amendola and Frank Gore. Unfortunately Gore is old and Amendola will more likely than not get hurt about 4 games into the season.

Every offseason we're fed this line of drivel about how much better "this or that" is making the team. At the core, this roster is just not very good. We have zero superstars. ZERO. On offense, we are even more lackluster than the defense - which is saying something.

On balance, there is no way to talk around the fact that we lost three pro bowl caliber players and replaced them with scraps from the Island of Misfit Toys. The best thing we can point to is Tannehill starting again, because it's now more clear than ever he's a better QB than Jay Cutler, which honestly never should have been in doubt.

So, if Tannehill is the only tangible improvement from last year.... well, you know where this is going.

Yes I am tired of this. I don't know how to simply say that the Coach sets the tone in the locker room not the players. If the players produce the culture than the prisoners run the prison. How can everyone think that this is the way to win.

Gase has no clue how to run a team much less coach. Dolphins fans are a smart bunch, we have seen every scenario possible how you can to get even worse as a team.

The best way to make a team better has to start with coaching.

So a 32-year old part-time receiver is the key to turning this team around?? Really?? Embarassed

This is embarrassing.

Yep. It's tough to have any faith in this team when the people in charge just seem so clueless.

oh come on guys. have a little faith. this team is really just about to turn things around. as a matter of fact...

“Obviously we want to run an up-tempo, no-huddle offense,” Loggains dropped at a recent press conference. “That’s what Adam has done in the past and that’s where our vision is and we’re trying to get going that way.”

http://dailydolphin.blog.palmbeachpost.com/2018/05/16/why-the-miami-dolphins-might-really-really-be-serious-about-no-huddle-uptempo-this-time/

can't you see, the Phins really, really mean it this time. this is it. this IS the year.

yep, and Rob Konrad is going to catch a lot of passes out of the backfield. and Kirby Dar Dar is going to be a downfield threat. and Larry Shannon is a better version of Randy Moss.

Rolling Eyes YAWN.

I'll forgive Loggains because he's new, but it's really time to stop talking about the "up-tempo, no-huddle offense" in Miami.

And when has Gase ever run an "up-tempo, no-huddle offense"? Maybe with Peyton Manning, but that's ancient history.

Just play fucking football and win games. So tired of all the talk.

OH YOU PUSHED THE BUTTON! THE UP-TEMPO OFFENSE BUTTON.

HULK SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Such utter bullshit, all of it, everything they say. It's loser talk, from and by losers.

Talent wins. We're lacking that nearly everywhere.

They're not winning shit, and everyone that watches football knows it.

The only time we will run uptempo is if we get the ball on the opening kickoff or most of the time when we are behind and in score-fast mode. So, yeah, I don't see us being an uptempo team any time soon. Not with this talent.

The only up tempo you're going to see is fans towards the exits.
