ESPN first reported the news.

Here at our facility, we take a natural, holistic, appropriate and, above all, legal approach to training and recovery for all of our clients. And anyone who would suggest otherwise is irresponsible, and just plain wrong."

Players in their early-mid 30s being caught using PEDs seems to be happening a lot lately. Seems they think it's the only way they can stay in the league, seeing as almost none of these guys will make the kind of money they are now the rest of their lives post-NFL.

I wouldn't be throwing any stones just yet, for all we know Amendola might be busted next.

And it seems like it often happens with players recovering from injuries. I think the NFL really needs to find a better way to communicate about banned substances, because it's just happening too often and it's bad for the league. Some of these players are probably trying to "cheat" the system, but I honestly believe that in a lot of cases it's an honest mistake where the player was unaware that a supplement contained a banned substance. There's gotta be a way to improve this situation..it's really a bad look for the NFL.
