Tannehill is not an NFL level an QB. At what point will Miami bench him and move on. We won’t go anywhere with him as qb. He just doesn’t have the ability or moxie needed!

This is his sixth season of playing (not counting last season at all) and Tannehill still has never won more than 8 games as a starter. It won't be happening this time either.

Naturally this next draft is considered a shitty one for QBs and Tannehill's contract is structured in such a way that it would be almost impossible to get rid of him before 2020 anyway. So who's up for one more year of this?

(Breaks down sobbing.)

The real question is, at what point does Jmp get sick of doing Game Thoughts?

Up by 17 and Miami can’t trust Tannehill to throw more than five yards. Want to lose a game be as one dimensional as the Miami offense

I don't understand it. If you don't trust your QB to throw the ball 30 yrds down field to get a first down then why is he still around.

And they have nothing else, no developmental QB, nothing.

They must draft a QB this upcoming draft, like they should have in the last draft.

I’m disgusted by the performance of the offense. The Miami offense did more for Cincinnati than the Cincinnati offense did for Cincinnati. You can not give the other team two touchdowns

Exactly. Miami Defense did all they could do to keep the Bengals from winning. If Miami's offense doesn't want Miami to win then they need to tell Gase they don't want to play anymore

I see Mando and Omar have similar thoughts. Tannehill looks like he’s regressed.

Tannehill looks like he’s regressed.

To me it looks like inconsistency. First 3 games, statistically he was playing very well. A playoff-caliber level.

Last two games... just abysmal.

Good (and great) QBs don't have wild swings like that. Maybe ONE bad game every now and then against a great defense or with poor matchups. Not as wild as Tanny has been. SO up and down.

Tannehill makes poor decision and is trying to hard to make a play. Let the play happen and if it doesn't look right then run for a couple of yards. We understand that he is on a knee brace but he needs know when to take a sack and when to run.

Well, sad to say, but this has been Tannehill's MO for years. One game he looks good, then he goes in the toilet.

It seems like it was a fairly good effort from he defense too?

I am thinking we Phan Phan may have to struggle through this sort of dreck for two more years. Unless they simply collapse this season. And if Gase starts firing, trading, cutting guys to prove a point, that may be a very likely outcome IMO.

I read defense balled. I think Baker had two sacks. Surrendered 10 points to a powerful Cincy offense. They did their part.

Players are not the answer. Unless it’s a guard or center

Tannehill is what he is: a decent QB that inflates his stats with short passes against bad teams, and loses every time he plays a good team. He's afraid to throw the ball, and he has no feel for pressure. He's a middle of the road player at best.

Unfortunately, Gase has made it clear that as long as he's in charge, Tannehill is the QB. Gase has gone out of his way to avoid QBs that could possibly challenge Tannehill, and has amassed a collection of garbage QBs behind Tannehill that are below NFL caliber. This is the end of the line...if the season continues to spiral out of control, Gase and Tannehill both MUST go - absurd salary cap hit thanks to Tannehill's terrible contract be damned. Whatever it takes, these two have to go.
