Worst Case Scenario For Jets Game
It wouldn't be a blowout loss. It would be a loss in which the Fins were competitive enough to convince Ross that Philbin just needs a little more time to fix things so he should stay the rest of the season. A blowout loss at this point might be the best case scenario, as it might finally lead to the end of Philbin, or at least Coyle. I'd even grudgingly be willing to settle for Philbin staying if it meant Coyle was sacrificed, since at least *something* would be getting done.
A win? That's not even on my radar. Might as well speculate on when I'll be winning Powerball. The odds are about the same.

Worst case is if we luckily win while playing terrible football.

Worst case is Tannehill throws 5 TD and makes it look like the Jets were sleeping on the field

Re: Worst Case Scenario For Jets Game
I can't see it.
I was thoroughly impressed with the way the Jets handled the Colts on Monday night a couple weeks ago. I was also surprised to see the talent assembled on that defense.
I believe the Jets will handle us easily in London. We have too many holes, and they have a solid defense and a strong running game. Their offensive line is pretty good too.

The Jets do not have the talent that Buffalo has at this time, but they do have a defense that can absolutely manhandle this O-line.
The trip to London has proven to be something of an equalizer in recent years, though. Even bad Fins' teams like 2007 kept the score respectable.
I see a 23-20 loss, and I hope that Ross doesn't see that as improvement. "We're close! We were only a FG away this week!"

I pray for a 47-10 route of Miami. Philbin has to go!

If the eagles can run on You than the Fins could to if at least they try. Other than Revis the rest of the secondary is average & cromartie isn't that good anymore.
But I still say our Defense will make fitzgerald look like a 1st team all-pro Qb and we will give up over 30 again.

That "average" Jets secondary is currently the #4 pass defense in the NFL, allowing just 191 passing yards a game. Opposing QBs have a 66.5 QBR against the Jets D, good for 4th in the league. Finally, the Jets D is #1 overall in points per game, at just 13.5.
This Jets defense is scary good, and they are legit. This is the type of team that is built to defend the Dolphins' offense...they are tough, smart and cover well. In fact, this Jets game may be a tougher matchup for Miami than Buffalo.
As far as running the ball, yeah, the Eagles did have some success. But they actually run the ball - we don't. Lazor's gameplan NEVER involves heavy running, and I doubt he'd change now. Plus, our OL has zero run-blocking ability...absolutely zero. I'd be shocked if we got more than 75 yards total on the ground in this game.
And yeah, our defense will make Fitzpatrick look all-world. And, if Chris Ivory plays, just watch how he barrels through our weak LBs and DBs in the run game...it will be ugly.
I see this as another brutal game for the Phins....
