Turner was benched for rookie Jamil Douglas late in the preseason by former coach Joe Philbin and wasn’t even activated on game days.

Enter interim coach Dan Campbell, who gave everyone a clean slate when he took over two weeks ago.

I said it before and I'll say it again, there's nothing worse than someone in charge who promotes/demotes based on nothing more than personal whims regardless of actual performance. Such people are not qualified to lead a pack of 5-year old Cub Scouts, let alone a group of adults.
