Game Day Fins at Iggles.

Post by JEGnj on Sun Nov 15, 2015 6:47 am

I'm tired of talking about the current horrible Fin's team and getting frustrated every week so

Remember the game in Philly when Shula won his 325th?
Invincible with Mark Walhburg was a great movie.

Wasn't Doug Pederson the QB in that game???

Anyway, I fully expect a big Eagles win today. 250+ rushing yards, easily. My prediction: 28-13 Eagles. Tannehill gets 0 TDs for the third consecutive game as Miller scores the only TD.

From the "Are you shitting me" department. For the THIRD consecutive week, the Fins have given up a Safety. We keep finding new ways to display our suckatude.

The only words that come to mind while watching this are High Draft Pick

They are playing to lose but at least at this point it's still a ballgame.

TanneSACK is one of the worst QBs in the NFL.

The only thing I learned from this is that the NFC East is only slightly less shitty than the AFC South.

It would be so...Finsy to go winless in the division and 8-2 or so against everybody else. Right now the Chargers and Ravens both seem like winnable games, even if it's only because each of them would out-suck the Fins, and it also seems like they could take 2 of 3 VS the Cowboys, Colts and Giants. Which of course would prove absolutely nothing except that the so-called "tough' schedule wasn't really all that.

Don't really care if Campbell stays or goes at this point.

BTW I saw that kick return, the one where Damian Williams tiptoes to the one and then falls on his ass. This is still a herpy derpy team apparently.

Also, the Iggles somehow managed not to run for 300-plus yards against them I see. Probably because they're not in the AFC East. Laughing

That kick "return" by Williams was arguably the worst KR I've ever seen.

Couldn't cover TE's to save our lives with Grimes out.

still, a lot to like. Ajayi and McCain did some nice things and we won a tough one on the road.

I think Campbell will keep getting better.

Glad to know it's not just me Cool

So my man from Mempho played well, then? Kewl Very Happy

I think Campbell will keep getting better.

How so? It seems as if this win was only due to sheer luck/the Iggles out-sucking them.

He made a couple of big blunders in clock management last Sunday in Buffalo, was much better today in that regard. Maybe they did out-suck us, but still, this is a win against a team with something to play for on the road. A far cry from kicking the Titans' ass.

Sloppy, poorly played game from both teams - but I'll take the win. Hopefully I'll have a write-up later or tomorrow...

It sure is amazing how well they do against non-division foes. Hell, even the Philbin Fins almost beat the Jags and did beat the Skins. And that was with the players openly trying to get him fired.

I've stopped caring about draft order, seeing as this team has proven repeatedly they'll only screw up the pick no matter where it is anyway.

I want to see who we trade the pick to so Tannenbaum can bring in a high-priced long-snapper to lead us to victory.

I have to say that Miami did pretty well against the run vs the Eagles but then again the Eagles Run game isn't the best.

I hoping that Romo is not ready when Miami plays against the Cowboys next week. Because the way the Cowboys are playing Miami could easily win this one as well.

I am not a pessimist but the only way that Miami will go to the playoff is if Miami beat the Jets, the Pats and win out. With all the injuries that is hitting Miami now there is no chance for Miami to make the playoff.

The Phins will need to win 10 games to make the playoffs. Maybe 9 could make it, but given all the conference losses Miami already has I doubt it. So the Phins would need to go 6-1 the rest of the way. I just don't see any way that happens. Looking at the schedule, I think 8-8 is the best they can do...but I think 6-10 is much more likely.

For playoff positioning, keep in mind that we would lose a tiebreaker with the Bills, and are on pace to lose a tiebreaker with the Jets (assuming they sweep us, which I expect). We're also two games behind the Steelers, and the Chiefs and Raiders both have better conference records than us. That's a lot of ground for the Phins to cover.

The Cowboys' game will be interesting...if Romo starts and is ready to go, I think they beat us. But without Romo, or even with a limited Romo, they have no offense at all and we should win. With a competent QB, I think Dez and Witten destroy the Miami D.

Sad to say, I do think Dallas bursts this bubble if Romo is ready. They'd be a lot less dangerous next Sunday IMO if they hadn't blown the game at Tampa yesterday.
