Only Three Things...
Can stop the Panthers from 19-0 now.
1. Their own coach: Will Rivera suddenly decide mid-game that he really doesn't want to be 19-0 after all like Caldwell in '06? He doesn;t seem like that kind of person, but you just never know.
2. The Cardinals: I still think they're the only NFC team that can beat the Panthers in the playoffs.
3. The Pats: If they reach the SB you just know the Pats will be waiting for them, and that would mean we'd face the nauseating prospect of relying on Belichick and Brady to save the '72 Fins' legacy I'd still root for the Panthers. Who would probably lose.

I think 16-0 is a given at this point.
And if Newton keeps playing the way he has been, 19-0 is a real possibility. I'll be rooting for the Panthers over the Patriots too, if it comes down to that.

The way I see it, the Fins' legacy has already been trampled over, what's the harm in seeing a team go 19-0 now? This seems like the perfect season for it to happen (see what I did there?). At least it's not the Pats. Once they lost I stopped caring about it. I just had a feeling the Giants would win and somehow they almost did.

I think Arizona has a very good chance to beat Carolina, but I won't be the least bit disappointed if Carolina finishes 19-0 either. At least it's Don Shula's son playing a key role.
I'm not so certain the Patriots make it. Blount is a huge loss to them come playoff time.

And that is how full of shit I am.
Seriously though . . . the Cardinals saw the return of the real Carson Palmer today.

Don't feel bad, I had the Cards beating them in this game too over on Electric Football Show's Youtube channel.
I felt queasy about it (see what I did there?) after that Cards-Packers game and hearing about Carson Palmer's finger, but I just don't like changing predictions at the last minute.
