Rookie injury trend

Post by mercury22nathan on Thu Jun 16, 2016 10:04 am

and when you make a habit of drafting injured and injury-prone players, you get...

Rookie running back Kenyan Drake limped to the locker-room after pulling up in a punt blocking drill. Drake grabbed the back of his right leg with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

He had a slew of injuries when playing at Alabama, including a dislocated ankle, a cracked rib, a sprained ankle, a concussion, a quad contusion, and a broken right arm.

No surprise that Drake is already sidelined.

Look, all teams have injuries. Players get hurt all the time. Just because one of our players gets hurt, does not mean that it was destined to be, due to the mere fact that we drafted him. Now, on the other hand, if we pick a player that has been chronically injured during his college career and he continues that trend, then it is 100% on us.

As far as Drake goes, I'm quite sure our medical staff checked him out and pronounced him good to go when they worked him out, prior to selecting him. Very Happy

We all know we have one of the most respected medical staffs in the business. Rolling Eyes

It doesn't??? Shocked I could've sworn that was one of the laws of the universe.
