Falcons 7 runs for 10 yards at the half. After being stuffed early, they really didn't even try. IMO they won't be going anywhere this season with an approach that finesse-oriented.

Tunsil looked excellent. Really strong hands and quick feet.

The Falcons' D is bad. Really no excuse for the Phins to have just 7 points against them. The Phins' O looks very sloppy right now...terrible run blocking, dropped passes, tipped balls, poorly thrown passes to open receivers...a lot to work on.

Vic Beasley looks like a world-class bust to me. Seems like there have been a lot more first round busts than usual the past few drafts, but maybe that's just me.

This McKissick (sp) guy just had a return far better than anything Grant's done so far.

Yeah, Grant hasn't impressed me at all.  The only above average returns he's had were against backups.  Hasn't shown me much against starters.

IMO the only reason people rave about Grant is because otherwise they'd have nothing to say about this team's non-Tunsil rookies at all.

Definitely a far cry from the Dallas dumpster fire.

Our defense can tackle, and they can play the run - encouraging signs. Previous week Atlanta rumbled on the ground, they are a strong running team so given the opponent the performance has real merit.

Corners definitely look weak, but we knew that. Would not be surprised at all to see either a FA acquisition next year, a high draft pick at CB, or both. Or, we continue with philosophy of beefing up DL to use pressure instead of coverage against the passing game.

Collinsworth praised Steen for his work against one of the Falcons best pass rushers at DT. My take away was, do we really NEED Pouncey? I did not see much dropoff, if any, with Steen at C. Tunsil and Bushrod started at G for second week in a row, I think that's solidified.

McCain and Fede were both hurt, kind of putting that competition for the last DE spot into limbo. Possible Warmsley gets it instead just because he's healthy, and has flashed some plays.

I was actually very pleased with last nights performance. Not buying playoff tickets but for the most part I liked what I saw.

I'd say it was a better performance, but I'm still not pleased overall.  The continued emphasis of the offense on 3-yard passes and throwing well behind the sticks on 3rd downs, and the continued failure of the running game, are both frustrating and leave me feeling like things haven't changed much on offense. I'm also concerned that Parker looks very ordinary so far.   On D, last night was certainly good - but an inconsistent pass rush combined with a lot of trash at LB and DB makes me think the D will be pretty damn bad this season.

I don't know...tough for me to see more tha 6 wins this season, but I guess stranger things have happened...

I not expecting that Miami will beat teams by 30 or 40 points but as long as they are winning then that fine with me. My issue is Cameron dropping passes like he already knows that he will start.

I would have cut Cameron long ago - he sucks.

I read somewhere his year in Cleveland was an aberration. He was targeted far more than any TE in the league, and caught a lower percentage than most everyone else.

Sure, throw the guy a ton of balls he will catch some. Cameron just doesn't seem to have good hands at all.

I have to agree. unfortunately Miami doesn't need a player that can't catch. Jordan Cameron has no hands and can barely get off of his man. There has to be someone else Miami can use at TE

I think all the concussions and numerous other injuries he's had have also caught up with him. He's a sloppy route runner and terrible blocker, and he has very questionable hands. Sure, he'll make a play here and there, but overall he's overrated, overpaid and, really, not very good.

That would be great, but unfortunately we don't have anyone to be the #1! I keep waiting for Sims to turn into something, but he continues to be below average in everything he does.

Sims wasn't really that good in College either but he can make some plays. I mad that Miami got rid of Clay but at the same time he doesn't look that great in Buffalo

Clay's problem is he can't stay healthy.  But I'd rather have a healthy Clay than a healthy Cameron.  Clay gives 100% every play.  Cameron is way too soft.
