Phins get to 53 man roster

Here's the full list of moves:

Waived: OL Jamil Douglas, linebackers James Burgess and Tyler Gray, defensive tackles Chris Jones and Deandre Coleman, tight end Thomas Duarte, quarterback Zac Dysert, safeties Shamiel Gary and A.J. Hendy, offensive tackle Ulrick John, defensive ends Cedric Reed, Jordan Williams and Cleyon Laing, cornerbacks Rashaan Melvin and Lafayette Pitts, and wide receiver Rashawn Scott

Cut: linebacker James Michael-Johnson, cornerback Chimdi Chekwa, tight end Dominqiue Jones, running back Daniel Thomas and offensive tackle Sam Young

PUP: CB Chris Culliver

Personally, I think it's a mistake to keep DB Jordan Lucas over guys like Shamiel Gary, AJ Hendy and Chimdi Chekwa. Lucas has shown nothing and has a limited ceiling...the others have all impressed me at one point or another this offseason.

I am not surprised that they waived Douglas but I was hoping that they get rid of Dallas Thomas as well. But one out of the two is good.
