Here is an Article that describes the Dolphins to a Tee and how we can't seem to fix the problem.

Great article, and so true.  Tannehill is the poster chld for QB Purgatory.

This article could've been written by 316...he's been saying this sort of stuff as long as I've been posting with him!

How do you know it wasn't? Twisted Evil

But seriously, not even trying to suck for Luck back in '11 was the biggest mistake this franchise ever made. Maybe they don't succeed, but for God's sake they could've at least made the effort instead of getting all uppity and going all out to win completely meaningless games AFTER the season was lost.

The Eagles are a great recent example of a team that wasn't satisfied with their QB and fixed it. Granted it's early, but it looks to me very much like they hit paydirt with Wentz.

Starting from #13 - AND - having an expensive Bradford already on the roster, the maneuvering they pulled off to get Wentz was nothing short of exceptional. Then the Bridgewater injury happens and boom, they trade away Bradford to complete the deft maneuver with a flourish.

We would have to do something comparable. As bad as this team looks, we'll probably end up winning about 6 games, and there will be a bunch of teams in front of us looking to draft a QB.

If we want to change that, we're going to have to do some wheeling and dealing, assuming we have the conviction to lock on to a guy at QB we really like. From what I read this week, the Eagles fell in love with Wentz back in March. Then they had the guts to make those trades in order to be in position to draft him.

Yep, if you KNEW the QB was at his plateau, you could make better decisions.

But if you suspect the QB is going to get BETTER...

Heck, the Chargers gave up on Brees, but then they had Rivers, so...

I am afraid as someone pointed out over in the Bengals game thread, that the Phins keep Tannehill and go after a RB or some other scheme to fix the problem.

This seems to be the sort of thing That Steve "Big Boob" Ross can really get behind.
