Jason Jones Suspended Two Games?!?!

Great, now that the league is finally aware the Fins have actually won 5 in a row they're taking action to stop them. Gotta love how they're just getting around to doing this NOW for something that happened at least 5 months ago Jones really should've just slapped some random woman around, then he'd have gotten off scot free.

At least he's not wasting everyone's time by appealing. And the game of "how many Fins players will be lost this week" continues...

Still why they wait so long to suspend him. They don't want to see Miami winning so they are trying to set them up for failure. Jason Jones might not be great but he has 2.5 sacks and is depth for Miami's DL.

This has nothing to do with the NFL hating the Dolphins.  It has more to do with the NFL dragging their feet for whatever reason.  Players get suspended almost every week, sometimes for inclidents that happened months earlier.  There is no conspiracy theory against the Phins or Jones.

Jones is a JAG...this really doesn't impact the Phins one way or another.

I literally cannot recall the last time anybody got suspended mid-season for something that happened months earlier. Even Brady's suspension was right from the start. The league didn't wait until the 8th-10th game and then suddenly decide to do it.

Don't get it twisted, I'm not condoning DUI. But at this point a suspension is just silly, seeing as Jones has already gone through whatever the process for that is. And I'm sure Gase would've shown him the door if he'd done it at any point between then and now. I'm telling you, this doesn't happen if the Fins are out of playoff contention like they usually are this time of year.

We're getting too close to being even a little competition to the Patriots. Time for the league to step in.

Well, I guess the league didn't get the memo about helping the Patriots - Pats' DL Alan Branch just got suspended too.

If anything, the league now HATES the Patriots because of the whole deflategate fiasco.

And if the NFL really wanted to hurt the Phins, why would they target a non-impact role player instead of one of the team's better players? 

My advice: enjoy the winning streak and don't worry about the conspiracy theories.

I don't even think it is the deflate issue but all the cheating scandals that they have come across. The Pats are lucky they are not as tough as the NCAA people with their disciplinary actions. But the funny thing to me is that they allow Dion Jordan to come back to practice........SAY WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually the Fins hate and (former) Pats love have nothing to do with each other. The league and the media have despised the Fins ever since the '72 season, and I have given numerous examples of that.

The sad part is, if the officials get in on the act nobody would even notice since apparently they've been historically incompetent this season. Just heard about the Texans-Raiders fiasco. I put nothing past the NFL these days in terms of blatant corruption. Like society in general they aren't even trying to hide it anymore.
