best news for Miami fans....maybe
I never wish for someone to be injured but at the same time this will help out Miami

SI Wire wrote:New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will undergo back surgery tomorrow, according to ProFootballTalk.
Gronkowski reportedly suffered a ruptured disk against the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 13, according to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News.
Gronkowski reaggravated the injury in Week 13 against the New York Jets. He played seven snaps and received two targets before leaving the game.
The team initially believed the injury was not as serious and he would return quickly but Gronkowski is now expected to miss eight weeks. There is no timeframe for his return, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The key in Miami will be getting to Brady consistently. We've limited him before when we can generate a good pass rush.
Gronk being out will help a bit, but if Brady has time to throw and we can't disrupt the timing, it's going to be a long day. He'll find anyone that's open if he can avoid pressure.

Not sure how much this helps the Dolphins. Martellus Bennett is an absolute beast, and he's a matchup nightmare against any team. Plus, the Pats still have plenty of high quality receiving options.......and Tom Brady. As good as Gronk is, I'm not sure losing him will have that much of a negative impact at all.

I've got Bennett on my fantasy team. I expected him to have huge weeks with Gronk out, but it hasn't happened. I think the ankle injury he is fighting through must be pretty bad. He's not the same as earlier in the year, at least not right now.

Yep, Bennett is banged up but he's playing through it. Excellent blocker and beast of a receiver. His injury isn't serious.
Unfortunately for the rest of the league, Pats' rookie WR Malcolm Mitchell is starting to flash, with 9 catches for 140 yards and 3 TDs in the last two games. Add in Edelman and Hogan, and Brady and the Pats will be just fine.
The Dolphins just have to take care of their own business...no need to worry about the Pats till week 17.

All I care about is that the last game of the season against the Patriots means something for the Miami Dolphins. In other words , take care of business.
