First playoff game in 8 years. Glad its Sunday, with all the injury concerns I'll take the extra day.

I'm working 4-12 Sat and could not switch out so Sunday is great news. I get to watch the slaughter.

Very happy it's Sunday. We planned a dinner for my parents' 80th birthdays on Saturday night, so the timing is perfect!

I think we may surprise the Steelers. I believe that most NFL teams underestimate Miami. I think Pittsburgh will underestimate us once again. They almost lost to Cleveland yesterday. They can be run on. They can be passed on. They have a very suspect defensive backfield.

Pitts is not underestimating Miami. After that beaten they took from us, they have adjusted themselves well to Ajayi.

Pressure Big Ben and force 3+ turnovers. If not, Steelers win 38-13 or something like that.

Yeah the Steelers will have to make some mistakes on offense for us to win. I'd say 34 - 21 Steelers.

Agree with what you guys have said. Our defense is going to be challenged to find a way with all the backups we have on the field, but they MUST pressure Ben and force turnovers to have a chance.
I think our offense can be just fine, but don't underestimate the Steelers defense. In games that mattered over the last seven weeks, they have played at a high level. They didn't care against Cleveland.

Fin's getting ZERO respect. Everyone has Steelers and Pats playing in the conference game.

Yeah, the Steelers D is actually better than people think, at least statistically: #10 overall in fewest points allowed per game at 20.4.
I do think the two teams match up better than the analysts seem to think, but I just find it difficult to imagine us being in this game very long with Matt Moore and a patchwork defense. In the playoffs, the better teams tend to rise to the occasion - and I think the Steelers are the better team in this case. But - big plays and turnovers are the great equalizer...unlikely, but maybe we can steal one here with some timely game-changing plays.

The Phins won't get respect till they earn it. They have beaten just one team with a winning record all season, and this is their first playoff appearance since 2008. Respect doesn't come overnight. Beat Piitsburgh in Pittsburgh, and it's a start.
And...Chiefs vs. Patriots in the AFC Championship game - book it.

Let just hope that Howard is up to the challenge to do what Maxwell did against Brown. IMO, he not great or nor will he ever be.

I see no chance in this game at all.
If it ends up that way, I'm still very happy with this season as a first step.

If Miami's D comes through Vance Joseph should have a head coaching job before the end of the 4th quarter. Talk about a challenge.

I agree. Denver needs someone that can bring a spark to the team and if Joseph pulls off an upset against Pitt's offense, he the new head coach in Denver.

I don't see how Joseph gets a promotion after the way the Miami defense played this season.
29th in yards/game
18th in total points and points per game
23rd in yards per play
30th in rushing yards allowed
Last in rushing yards per attempt
Yes, the D was great on 3rd downs and got a decent amount of INTs...but that's about it.
Again, maybe he wows teams during the interview process...but judging by the performance of the Dolphin defense, I'd say he deserves to be fired more than he deserves a head coaching job!
