The Miami Dolphins had the 30th best offensive line in 2016

So Miami was 32nd in 2014, 31st in 2015 and 30th in 2016, I don't see how this is an improvement.....

Miami’s frightful front five — new nickname? — ranked 30th in the NFL this season, according to Pro Football Focus‘ end-of-the-year rankings. They ranked 22nd in Football Outsiders’ metrics.

This makes Jay Ajayi look even better, with the talented tailback finishing the season as the top ranked back in football.

One could point to injuries as a contributing factor, with center Mike Pouncey missing 11 games, but it’s always something with this group. This is despite four of its five starters being former first-rounders in Pouncey, Branden Albert, Ja’Wuan James, and Laremy Tunsil.

I trust Football Outsiders more than I do PFF, but either way, I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't think the OL was very good.

It's sad that one player could ruin the entire line, but that's exactly what happened when Pouncey went down. Looking player by player, I'd say Albert was decent, Tunsil was mediocre, Steen was godawful, Urbik was below average, Bushrod was bad and James was meh.
