AMAZING!!! ASTONISHING!!! MIND BLOWING!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Seriously, how??? Are the Broncos really that awful??? At least Paxton Lynch didn't play so he had nothing to do with it.

They're out of it.

Time to start winning meaningless games.

They have a slight chance if they run the table, which will not happen.

So let's start truckin' back to that middle of the draft by picking up 3 more wins.

As good as the Phins played today, and they really did play great overall, I think the outcome had more to do with the ineptness of the Broncos. That team is simply awful. No OL and no QB...that's a recipe for disaster.

The Miami OL and run defense were poor even in the victory, and against better teams those units will continue to be exploited. No doubt in my mind that the Pats will destroy them again, and even with the Chiefs struggling I don't think we can stop their offense. Maybe we'll beat the Bills once or twice to ruin our draft position.

The only remotely good reason this team has to even try to win now is to knock the Bills out of the playoffs. Which would probably happen anyway. No way they beat the Pats or Chiefs. So...yet another 7-9 season at best.

This game reminds me of '11, when they started the season tanking to get Sparano fired and then suddenly decided to start trying out of sheer spite--after the season was ruined. The Fins somehow manage to even suck at sucking.

Miami can only be 8-8 and right now the only other team that Miami has a chance of beating is the chiefs if they play like they did with all those penalties yesterday. The season is over for Miami unless they pull a miracle against the Pats.

Watch them beat the Pats and put the hope football down for everyone to go take a Charlie Brown-esque swipe at it.

Not that I'm mind beating the Pats, mind you. I'd LOVE it.

The matchup becomes much more favorable if Gronk gets suspended...but I think the Pats will win big with or without him.

Agreed. The ONLY WAY the Phins beat the Pats is if they somehow sack Tom Brady and knock him around like a piñata. So much so that Belichick removes him from the game. Like a few years ago.

I do not see that happening.

If they beat the Bills ONCE I will be surprised.

At this point: I think I am safe in saying, Jay Cutler is a team killer. His stats may be fine, but there is just SOMETHING....an intangible that destroys any team he is QBing for.

Some QBs have IT...the X Factor, that intangible that allows them to hoist the offense on their back and WILL THEM to a score when it is needed. It elevates the whole offensive team.

And just KNOWING that the QB can get the job done if he is given the chance inspires the defense to greater efforts.

Jay Cutler just does not have IT, but the intangible he does have SAPS a team's will to win, and does not inspire them to greater efforts IMO. It INFECTS the entire team.

This was an entirely wasted season IMO. All the problems the Phins had, they still have, and if there is a not major restructuring done I will be surprised.

Well, my tactic worked.

I knew accusing Cutler of being a team-killer would inspire him to his best effort yet!

No. Really. That was strategy, see...

I plan to call him a team-killer for every other game also!

Great googly-moogly!

Very Happy

I'm not sure it works like that FF. I think you'll just have to start insulting a different aspect of the team every week (lord knows there's lots of options). For example, maybe say something along the lines of Alonso being the worst LB to ever play the game. Yeah, that's the ticket Razz
