The Colts get kind of a pass playing their 3rd string QB but still, this was an outstanding win on the road for Flores. Well done. I enjoyed the game it was exciting.

I like this winning stuff It just doesn't have the same feel as '11 when the winning pissed me off after the 0-7 start. I'm not sure why I'm happy instead of angry now but I am. I really do think this team can win 6 games now.

Miami making the playoffs is unrealistic but I would eat my shoe if they went to the playoffs.

That season, they tried to win, and stunk.

This year, they tore it all down, burned it to ashes, then razed the foundation. So this year, every win is like FOUND MONEY!!!

It is good to see some improvements from the start of the year until now. Usually, there is no player development, and when a starter
or two goes down, the whole season is over. Now, it does look like Flores is installing that "Just do your job."/TASK ORIENTED Defense that makes the Pats so successful.

I like this type of development. players like Needham and Parker made plays on defense you would expect from top players. If they keep this up then Miami has less and less need for getting replacements in FA and draft

ACTUALLY...that season the players were hell-bent on getting Sparano fired (they'd already quit on him the final 3 games of the previous season) and figured if they tanked the first 4 games he'd be gone for sure after the bye. But instead that was the offseason where Ross was caught trying to hire harbaugh behind Sparano's back and basically *had* to extend his contract out of embarrassment. So when the bye came and went and Sparano was still around the players doubled down (as the kiddies say now) and flat-out laid down VS the Jets on Monday night. I saw this happen live, there can be no doubt about it.

THAT'S when the Suck For Luck talk really got going. All of a sudden, the same players who were losing on purpose to get their coach fired started trying to win out of sheer spite. They failed the first two times because by that point losing had become a habit and this was the season of Tebow constantly pulling games out of his keester, but then just like the Fins this season they hit a soft part of the schedule and suddenly not only started winning but blowing teams away Believe it or not despite an 0-7 start the '11 Fins finished with a point differential of +16--better than Gase's one playoff team And so naturally Ross wound up firing Sparano before the season ended anyway just to get basically the same results with two more coaches, and the Fins wound up having to settle for Tannehill at #8 because that's just how things work in Finsland

This is different I think everyone likes Flores and really think that his plan is working. All those times before there wasn't real coaching going on remember when people were talking about how they would get a way with stuff during practice and still play. This isn't happening on Flores team and we see it.

Exactly. Flores has put together a professional team. They're doing things the right way and it is starting to pay off. The exact opposite of the Gase shit-show where there was no plan, no discipline, no attention to detail. This current team plays smart and works hard...sounds simple, but it's been a very long time since you could say that about a Dolphins team.

Really does remind me of the 1996 Bucs and 1997 Falcons. Could this team actually win 3 or 4 more games down the stretch? Bills, Jets, Giants, Bengals, Eagles and Patriots. We could well end up picking about 8th....

Here's a helpful hint since I know you're still relatively young. The people who always complain will always complain no matter what, therefore trying to please them is a complete waste of time.
