Lamar Jackson: Playoff Choke Artist

Somehow managing to lose a playoff game to the team that always chokes (Chargers) was bad, but hey Jackson was just a rookie, right?

Losing by 16 with a 14-2 team after winning MVP? That's inexcusable no matter how you look at it. Lamar Jackson is an official playoff choker now and deserves every bit of that label.

EDIT: Jackson is the first player with 300-plus yards passing and 100-plus yards rushing in a playoff game...and somehow could only manage one TD. Ravens were 0 for 4 on 4th down after going 8 for 8 in the regular season. Not sure how it's humanly possible to choke harder than that. Peyton Fucking Manning is embarrassed at how Lamar Jackson choked.

They did exactly what they needed to do to hold Jackson off. Jackson is not the most accurate but he is a good QB that has a lot to work on. This is one of those tests that he will have to get over, get better and try again next year.

He will be back. He's a hard worker who improved leaps and bounds this year. Mahomes didn't make the Super Bowl during his miracle year either but he's back and likely will this year now. Jackson will get over this hump next year IMO.

WELL...Peyton did lose his first 3 playoff games, including the third one 41-0 to a 9-7 Jets team that needed the Fins to blow an 11-point lead in the last 5 minutes just to get into the playoffs and he won two rings somehow, so I'll concede that point to Hal.

Okay that settles it as far as I'm concerned. Mahomes = winner. Jackson = loser.

Both guys play the same way, but Mahomes's runs actually have a purpose and his fancy numbers aren't just empty calories. He actually knows how to finish a drive in the playoffs.
