CFB National Championship game
First half is great so far. Burrows touch and accuracy are superb. Clemson looks like the better team but Burrow is keeping LSU alive.

Tee Higgins would be a solid pick with our first second rounder if he lasts!

Thor McJesus has been...off on way more throws than I expected. This is Chiefs-Texans Lite in terms of one team looking like it would dominate and then suddenly the tables turning.
Burrow looks compromised though, he took a HARD shot on that last TD pass. Bears watching.

Burrow has great timing and touch. Very few bad throws tonight. The big play has kept LSU in the game. Clemson has bursts of productivity. Their defense looks unstoppable until the big Burrow pass plays.

Excellent game so far. Burrow solidifying himself as the #1 pick. Lawrence is struggling. So many high draft picks playing in this game - crazy!

Burrow is unreal. The guy is just unstoppable. The scary part is he just keeps getting better.

Lawrence on the other hand, doesn't look good at all.

Yeah Lawrence just doesn't look right. Not used to being on the losing end.
Re: CFB National Championship game
Burrow is who Lawrence wants to be like when his balls drop. Dude got schooled by a grown ass man tonight.
After leading 17-7 Clemson was outscored 35-8 the rest of the way. Felt like I was watching Chiefs-Texans again.

IMO this loss and performance is the best thing that could've happened to him. Two titles and never having lost a game in college going into his junior season would've been a classic case of too much too soon. Where can you go when you're already at the absolute zenith? But now he has some actual motivation to improve, and I believe he will. He's not suddenly an awful QB and fraud now, he just had one bad game. It happens to literally everybody who's ever played sports.

Agreed. Parcells always said you don't know what a QB is till he faces adversity. Last night was the first time Lawrence faced real adversity. Let's see how he responds next season. I think he'll be fine, and yes, this could be the best thing to happen to him. Needs a big offseason.
