WTF is with Flores today? Another terrible challenge! He's getting really bad info from his staff today.
ANd what's with the defense allowing Cam to complete all these long passes???

Outstanding. A game we needed and delivered despite a bunch of momentum changing plays and breaks. This team is gritty. Let’s go Fins Vegas is next!

Kindley
Hunt
Jackson
Ahmed
Tagavailoa
Bowden
We beat the Patriots with 6 rookies starting on offense. Who averaged 95.2 yards rushing per game. Got 200+ today
Btw I predicted 31-13. Had Tua not thrown the pick I would have been on the money

Doing better than Jmp on game predictions lately
Come to think of it 31-13 was the score of that Fins-Bears game in '06, hmmm

That would be outstanding! I could see Belichick doing that too, just to screw the Jets out of getting Lawrence!
And speaking of the Jets, how pitiful are the Rams????
Re: GAME THREAD Patriots at Dolphins
Jags apparently straight up laid down for the Ravens, so they're playing the tank game properly.
And yes, the only time I'll ever root for the Pats again will be against the Jets ALTHOUGH...I do think the Jags now have the tiebreaker for the top pick. Tiebreakers for draft position don't work like they do for the playoffs, the team with the weakest SOS gets the better pick. That's why the Fins got the #2 pick in the '05 draft over the Browns even after beating them head to head and both teams having the same record. And right now the Jags would have the weaker SOS.
The Jets-Pats Tankoff will be so glorious I might even find a way to watch, or at least keep track. Maybe.

Re: GAME THREAD Patriots at Dolphins
Also, Jags could be the third team to win their opener and lose out, following the '69 Steelers and '01 Panthers.
Jets entered today with a -210 point differential (already the second worst in franchise history with 3 games left) and there was talk of them possibly breaking the '76 Bucs' record for worst ever PD. A part of me was rooting for this but I suppose it's better that they lose out on the top pick instead since even going 0-16 wouldn't have guaranteed them setting that record.
BTW the '86 Colts started 0-13 then stupidly won their final three to fall to the 2nd pick, something I know I brought up here at least once before. But even that's not as ridiculous as what the '68 Eagles did. Back when Tanking For OJ was a thing (seriously) the Eagles started 0-11 and looked like they had the top pick (and OJ) in the bag before somehow winning 2 straight and falling from first to third. The Bills took OJ, the Falcons took 8-time Pro Bowl OT George Kunz at #2 and at #3 the Eagles took...someone named Leroy Keyes. The Steelers picked Joe Greene at #4. I cannot make this stuff up.

And the Colts lost out on Vinnie Testaverde and picked Cornelius Bennet instead, who they used to get Eric Dickerson in a three-way trade including a bag of Fritos and Greg Bell.

In a weird way I guess they were rewarded by karma for not tanking. Although Dickerson only got them one playoff appearance (without a win) in five years and Colts fans were sick of him three years into that. And then they wound up with Jeff George, who made Testaverde's career look like Tom Brady's.
But then again Dickerson helped them win 4 of 5 VS the Fins (missing the one loss) after the Colts had lost the previous 14 straight against them (and 19 of the previous 20). Of course he did. That's why he's still on my list of biggest Fins killers ever.

Re: GAME THREAD Patriots at Dolphins
As I understand it, if the Jags and Jets both finish 1-15, the Jags will get the #1. I love it!!!
