I'm really not too worried about the Jets draft. Their head coach and QB are both... lackluster. They won't go anywhere until that's solved.

I'm hoping you're right. And history does show that bad teams are bad because they draft badly, and that a team like that could get all the extra picks in the world and still find a way to mess it up. Hell, Grier had three firsts just 2 years ago and how'd that turn out? The Colts once had the FIRST AND SECOND PICKS OF THE WHOLE DRAFT in '92 and somehow blew it. And JJ had more draft capital than any other team from '96-99 and couldn't draft offense to save his life.

The Jets' first two picks actually didn't faze me at all but the Johnson thing...that felt different. Stupid Titans

I also don't like taking a receiver that high. And no, I wasn't crazy about us taking Waddle but at least it looks like it worked for us because he's clearly really good. I don't think the Jets drafted another Waddle... not close.

The league is *loaded* with receiver talent drafted in the later rounds.

I agree. I know the Jets are lacking talent, but if you are a defensive head coach and you field the worst defense in the entire NFL...well, that's not exactly a ringing endorsement.

The Wilson pick seems really odd to me the more I think about it. He's sort of similar to Elijah Moore, who they drafted last year, and I don't see how they could have him ranked above Jameson Williams (even with the ACL). I would've have been all over Kyle Hamilton if I had their pick at 10.
