We have this program at work that let's us take these cool classes for FREE as continuing education. Twice I got to drive exotic cars. They are now offering a "backhoe" class where you get to spend 3 Sundays playing with heavy equipment. Should I sacrifice suffering through the Fin's game or take the class? Next year I'm thinking on CDL, Drones, "turf management" 3 Sundays with a golf pro, "Sea Captaining" 3 Sundays on a charter boat, or small engine repair.

First of all, where do you work and are they hiring? Shocked

Taking the backhoe class is a no-brainer, dude. Maybe I need to start doing stuff like this on Sundays instead of sleeping or lying in bed trying to sleep.

Honestly we might lose it in the next contract. There is a college in NJ the creatively writes these classes with a "title" to sound like a real class but in reality they are fun. My two exotic car class were "Auto Journalism" and the next was Defensive Driving and Auto Touring" Golf is "turf management" fishing is "sea captioning". Just figure might as well utilize it before it's gone.

I would take the classes. Record the games and watch them later.

I wouldn't even bother with the recording and watching.

Well, that's up to JEG! LOL The point is, it's an excellent opportunity that he shouldn't pass up IMO.

Didn't sign up. Will try to take some classes next year if this crap company would negotiate and give us a fair contract.
