Phins at Bengals Game Thread

Well, that's a horrible start. Bengals with a 5 minute, 9 play opening drive for an easy TD. Phins defense did absolutely nothing.

Burrow killing us with quick, short passes. Bogus roughing penalty gave them 15 extra yards and we missed a lot of tackles. Ugly.

Time for the offense to answer.

Phins respond by marching down the field, and then Edmonds drops a perfect pass on 3rd and goal. Field Goal. That drop could come back to haunt us. Just terrible. WTF Edmonds!!!

Great pressure on 3rd and 8 by Ingram and Phillips to force an incompletion. Nice D! I'd like to see a long drive here to give the D a break.

Burrow is beating the blitz with quick passes. Boyer needs to change it up - do some fake blitzes and put more men in coverage.

Tua has a footwork problem when throwing deep. He plants his lead foot too the right restricting his hip from coming around. I saw it in the deep throw against the Ravens. But if you look at the one against the bills it was better. But he did it again

Looked like Tua threw that INT too late...Hill was open earlier. Needed a little more air under it too...needed to get it out front. Just a bad throw.

Phins drive stalls but they get a FG. 7-6. Another short drive for Miami...just 3 minutes and 8 plays. Gotta do more to keep this defense fresh.

The whole team looks very sloppy and out of sorts. No doubt a result of the short week after 2 brutal games. Gotta dig deep and step up!

Excellent field position after a short punt...almost at midfield!

Hill was back for that punt...I think the punter got scared and kicked it short. The Tyreek Factor at work even when he doesn't touch the ball! He also drew a PI on the last drive. Keep feeding the Cheetah!!
