Phins sign OT and send another to IR

The Miami Dolphins signed veteran offensive tackle Eric Fisher on Monday and, in a corresponding move, placed starting right tackle Austin Jackson on injured reserve, the team announced.

Hope Fisher can get up to speed quickly. As long as he's healthy and in shape, he's a nice insurance policy at LT behind Armstead. Good signing.

This should've been done a week ago IMO.

With the bums we have this should have been done when Fischer became available

Fisher supposedly turned down 9 offers before the season began, so I don't know what his deal is.

His deal is that he's 31 and didn't want to go through camp.

LOL That's probably very true! Still surprised he didn't sign anywhere sooner. I thought I read a couple of months ago that he was recovering from an injury, but now I can't find whatever I thought I saw!

Yeah, I remember reading he was burnt out supposedly?

He "could" be a real difference maker if he still has any gas in the tank, but...
