The new vaunted defense is garbage. The turnover is momentum killer!

So far neither defense can stop either offense. That turnover is the difference in the game.

Dolphins offense is cooking!

Nice gift FG at the half. That's why you play. Miami never would've even tried that for the last bunch of years.
We knew it would be back and forth. O just has to keep playing and D needs to make some big plays.

Awful fumble to end the first drive but this is a much improved effort from last year's in L.A. I think both defenses adjust in the second half and the pace slows. Still think we can pull this off.

Tua with the pick. Taking points off the board

Great resilience though, firing right back in there and getting the TD next chance. This is a much improved Tua from late last year.

What a clutch drive. Tua's made some mistakes today but just keeps shaking them off and coming back.

What an ending. What a game. and D stepped up when needed the most.

Very, very shaky run defense, terrible missed extra point at the end that fortunately didn't matter, Tua needs to protect the ball better, but what a clutch performance by Tua and the "O" when it really mattered. Great road win to start things. Tua outplayed Herbert and we gave up no sacks.

"D" should get more comfortable with Fangio's scheme as the season goes on.

On to New England. That game is just as big next week.

What a game! Defense came up huuuge in the end! Dolphins opted to allow the run to shut down the passing. Would like to see more Miami running game but a win is a win!

It's a good thing run D in the NFL has never become more irrelevant

Last year's D was 6th against the run. Where did that get them? The Titans of all teams were #1.

What really matters in today's NFL is stopping the opponent from scoring late in the game when you have a one-score lead. So far this team's one for one in that department

That's the dirty little secret about the Fangio D and all of its imitators and variants. It'll give up more rushing yards than people are comfortable with but generally succeeds because shutting down the pass is what's really important these days. I'm honestly amazed nobody here picked up on that all offseason. I didn't say anything because I kept waiting for someone else to.

Also, Tua finished with a higher passer rating than Herbert which again is what's really important

This game in fact was the perfect summary of the player Herbert is. Puts up fancy numbers that make media members cream their pants but when it's crunch time he comes up short. Tua is now 2 for 3 against him, but I'm sure the ATF (Anti Tua Faction) won't bother mentioning it since it's the truth and they HATE that.

Chiefs lose, Bengals lose, Pats lose, and either the Jets or Bills are guaranteed to...um...not win

This was really such a HUGE field goal. It ended up being the difference between winning and losing. Helluva job by McD to show some balls and let Tua attack. And great job by EZ-E to draw the pass interference.

Another fun fact: this is the 6th highest yardage total in franchise history, and means Tua is responsible for 2 of the top 6 totals now. Not too shabby I'd say
