Miami Dolphins Get Off Season Right For Once
DANNY POAGUE wrote:The Miami Dolphins have become synonymous with making the wrong moves in the off season. Even if the moves seem right at the time they somehow end up wrong in Miami. Examples of this are everywhere, Trading up to draft Dion Jordan, a for sure “Homerun,” Hiring “The Next Great Coach” Joe Philbin, signing Mike Wallace to a big deal, aka “Finally a legitimate receiving threat for Ryan Tannehill.” These off season “victories” haven’t helped them break free from the 6-8 win mark.
This year feels differently, sound decisions and savvy front office work have put this team in a position to win now, while keeping an eye on the future. The 2016 off season feels more about shopping for a productive team than shopping for Headlines. Here are all the reasons I believe the Dolphins have finally “won” the off season.

You know I've actually read more positive reviews about the Dolphins offseason than anytime I can remember. But you have to remember, all these sights hire fans to right about their teams for the most part. Even though I've enjoyed the offseason I just struggle to believe in Tannehill.

There's a couple signings that aren't discussed in this article. The addition of the safety from Detroit. He was the top rated safety during the last half of the season last year. Ifo Ekprem the corner from Oregon. I just have this feeling that those two players become standouts on our defense.

Re: Miami Dolphins Get Off Season Right For Once
I think it was a very "meh" offseason, which I suppose is a step up from "terrible". Even with all the changes that were made, I still view this as a sub-.500 team.
Cap constraints played a big role in how the Phins attacked free agency, and I'm glad they weren't able to throw money around like they usually do. But aside from Mario Williams, I'm not convinced that they found any significant upgrades in free agency - and even Williams has to be considered somewhat of a question mark after his lackluster 2015 season.
I think the draft was very mediocre, as the Phins fell in love with specific players and made poor-value trades to get the guys they had to have. As a result, I think they left a lot of good players on the board and didn't significantly improve the roster.

Like JMP said I don't think Miami had a great draft because of the fact that they made stupid mistake because they fell in love with player. Miami should have looked at players that would have made the team great instead of looking for players that they love. The biggest issue is that Ross allows Tannenbuam to do what ever and not say hey are you sure that this guy is going to make the team better.
