Miami new safety: Obi Melifonwu

I saw his combine and this dude is ridiculous but then I saw his highlight reel on this guy and all I can say is man this guy needs to be Miami's next starting safety.

I became a fan during the Senior Bowl. Not sure the Dolphins defense is creative enough to get the most out of him, but he has an insane skillset for his size.

I saw a lot of hesitation when coming up to make tackles which ended up creating extra yardage. That's a concern from the safety position.

He's definitely on the raw side and needs a lot of work, no question. But his size/speed/skill combo is literally off the charts. A good DB coach could turn him into a superstar IMO. I don't think the Phins are a good fit for him, but if the Seahwaks or Patriots get a hold of him...look out.

Yeah Obi or that giant DE from Villanova could be super stars but with a roster like ours, you can't gamble. Their film doesn't match their workouts.
