Landry
If you're only going to throw short passes to Landry, then don't even pretend to re-sign him. Just let him walk in free agency. It would be foolish to pay a guy $15+ million a year to average 6.5 yards a catch in this bullshit offense.
What a shame. Landry could have been one of the all-time great Dolphins. Instead, he's an overrated reception-compiler on a garbage offense. He'll shine on another team next year. I can think of several teams where he'd be a 10-TD-a-year weapon. Screw Gase for not knowing how to use Landry.

Re: Landry
There are RBs who get more yards per reception than Landry, who is well on his way to shatter whatever the record season and career lows in that category are for a WR.
Of course he'll go to the Pats and become better than Welker. Of course he will. But at this point I'm with you, might as well just let him go anyway.

Re: Landry
after not getting the extension, has Landry checked out?

can this quote be right? is it taken out of context? he said "they" - not "we need to get better"?
“They need to, they need to, they need to get better,” Landry said.

Hmmm...is he throwing the OL under the bus???? If so, he's not wrong - but you can't start pointing fingers, especially when you're not holding up your own end.
Re: Landry
Landry will probably become collateral damage because he doesn't "fit" the offense we are trying to build.
It looks like Parker fits, and last year it looked like Stills fits, but with Cutler under center everything is not looking the same. Not at all.
Our problem is, we can't find the right talent in the draft. Not often enough to build a squad. We're constantly chasing our tails to patch holes left when we let guys go for one drawback or another, yet their replacement either isn't as good, or only marginally better.
Our first round picks aren't turning into difference makers. They are invisible. Look at Parker, this may be the year he emerges. But he's part of an offense that's on pace for record-setting bad, and this is year THREE for him. Meanwhile guys like Michael Thomas, Sterling Shephard, Tyreek Hill, etc etc etc are showing up and contributing from day one. Not all of them are first round picks either.
