Off to my brother's house to watch the game...hopefully the ride home tonight will be a happy one...
Re: Fins at Pats Game Day
Friggin no balls offense. If you need 17 yards call a 17 yard play.

At least the 1st quarter is over only down by 3. This offense has started bad 4 weeks in a row. Have to stop these bad starts.

At least Miami is playing consistent football. They suck on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams.

We don’t lose games like this. We lose in humiliating fashion.

Never even in this one.
Defense held early to a fg. That’s gone given the 24-0 deficit.
Miami has 1 good play. One! First play of the game. Since then runs for nothing, passes well short of first down, punts, folly botched snaps.
Gase gets embarrassed far too often. It will cost him his job.

So is Miami going repeat what happened in 2013 and go 8-8 for the season or this just a wake up call for Miami.

Well embarrassing that your team sucks so bad they get kicked off the nationally televised game. On to Sunday Ticket.

I’d like to say I’m surprised. But I’ve seen too many games like this to say that. Just more of the same.

As predicted.
Let's see if they can recover after this. I don't think they can. Bring on the losing streak.

Not even sure they win six games TBH. In three more weeks literally half the team will be injured.
And if Gase becomes the first Fins coach to start 3-0 and finish with less than 8 wins he needs to be fired. But Ross won't do that. Instead, he'll give Gase an extension and THEN fire him midway through next season, just like with Sparano and Philbin.
Yup, same ol' Fins after all...

You deserve some sort of medal or financial compensation or really great sex for hanging in that long. I'd have quit after 10-0 TBH. Definitely after 17-0. You are seriously a shining example of heroism for us all.

I can totally see this team losing out until the Week 11 bye, then getting a couple of their usual random WTF wins to ruin their draft position of course.

Man one loss and ya'll go into deep depression. This loss was ugly but I don't see Miami making the same mistakes they did in this game. But I do want to point out that Miami needs to stop wasting roster space with Parker. He doesn't play and is a waste of time on the field when he is around.

Exactly. It's not depression, it's realism. It's calling a spade a spade. We expect this team to have games like this because they always have games like this.
It's all over for Gase. He'll still be coaching at the start of next season because Ross but this loss right here for all intents and purposes made him a dead man walking.

Re: Fins at Pats Game Day
Everything about this team is fraudulent, and it starts with the head coach and the QB. Both are spineless jellyfish that are scared of their own shadows. I've never before seen a playcaller-QB combo that is so afraid to throw the ball. We NEVER throw the ball anywhere near the first down marker on third down, and we never attack a defense. Just gutless 2-yard passes, over and over. What a bunch of crap.

Don't forget about Gase's fear of running if the first carry or so gains less than 5 yards. In fact, he seems to have a general phobia of gaining yards, first downs, and scoring altogether! I'm completely serious. He might need to seek therapy for this.

The Patriots used a 4-man front with 7 DBs almost all game...basically telling the Phins "run on us." How did the Phins respond? By abandoning the run in the first quarter. That Adam Gase sure is a genius.
Re: Fins at Pats Game Day
Here's something to laugh at: the Phins' RB coach, Eric Studesville, is also listed as the "run game coordinator" on the team's website. Talk about money for nothing! We never run the ball, so what the hell is he doing??
Look, the OL sucks - we all know that. But you can't just stop running.
