After their last-second victory over the Patriots on Dec. 9, the Dolphins have found a way to profit off the play for years to come.

On Dec. 14, the Dolphins officially filed a trademark application for the phrase “MIAMIRACLE” as they will look to put the term on merchandise for years to come.

So for years to come we're going to celebrate a really cool play that in reality meant nothing in another lost season where the team failed to make the playoffs. Good to see this organization really has it's priorities in good order.

The sad part is that it's the only thing we have to celebrate, or will have in the foreseeable future. Well okay, we also have this I guess.
