Some things that stand out to me:
--Kenny Stills is starting at WR over Rishard Matthews. Mild surprise for me, becuase Matthews was by far the second best receiver in preseason to my eyes (behind only Landry.) I really thought Matthews earned a starting job.
--At LB, Sheppard is starting in the middle and Misi is at strongside...exactly as it should be. Glad the Chris McCain experiment is on the backburner...he has looked terrible.
--Brice McCain gets the starting nod over Jamar Taylor at CB. In the nickel, Taylor will play outside and McCain will move inside.
--LaMike James is the kick and punt returner, as expected. Sad that we couldn't find (or at least, didn't try to find...) anyone better...

Re: Depth chart announced
Trying to guess who the 6 inactives will be.
Logan Thomas – 3rd QB
Matt Hazel – doubtful Phins take 6 WRs into a game
Jason Fox – still dealing with concussion? If not, then its Jeff Linkenbach
Tony Lippett – still too raw to contribute on game day
I think the last 2 spots come down to…
Neville Hewitt – Does ST give him a leg up?
AJ Francis – Already 4 DTs in front of him and Shelby can slide inside if necessary
Bobby McCain – Buried on the depth chart and Davis and Bowman take his ST reps
I wanted to consider CJ Mosley for this list because I don’t think he plays ST, but I don’t think they would embarrass the vet like that and they’re not ready to roll with the rookie Phillips as the lone DT backup (with Shelby or Fede sliding over in a pinch).

Agree with all this. My take on who should be the 6 inactives:
Logan Thomas is a given.
Lippett and Hazel don't play STs as far as I know, so they are definitely going to be inactive.
Fox or Linkenbach for sure, but not both because one has to be the swing tackle.
Bobby McCain - as you said, buried on the depth chart
My 6th would be Jordan Kovacs - I don't see him playing safety in a game, and we have plenty of STs-only guys active.
I think all the DTs will be active for the rotation.
