Waddle Limp
Anyone concerned that the team is allowing Waddle to practice when he still has a noticeable limp? Our team doctors haven't been stellar throughout the years. I worry Waddle could be doing more damage to his ankle prior to the start of his career.

And this is why I was so upset when the pick was Waddle instead of Smith. This right here.
BTW I'm *severely* tempted to call his limp the Duck Waddle. Yeah, I can be a jerkass sometimes.
"SOMETIMES?!?!" I can hear some of you thinking

Re: Waddle Limp
Waddle has participated fully in OTAs, everyone has been talking about his blazing speed, and Flores stated that he didn't see any problems with him. Sure, he may walk with a limp - but so do a lot of professional athletes. It's not uncommon at all. As long as he can suit up on gameday and light up opposing defenses, that's all that matters. So far, it sounds like he's right where he needs to be.
Duck Waddle! I like it...and I don't care if he waddles or quacks..as long as he doesn't lay an egg on gamedays!
I'll see myself out...

The problem with ankles is long-term. Hopefully it's something he works out of the system as opposed to being plagued with 4-ish missed games a season.

He ran past the entire defense on a 50-yard TD bomb in OTA's so right now it is not an issue. Speed guys do tend to get a lot of ankle issues, so we'll see what happens long-term - but for now, all seems fine.

I've decided to only believe anything bad about Tua and Waddle and treat anything good said about them as fake news. I do have a reputation here to uphold, after all
Besides it just seems like the best course of action to take, period. That way when both are busts it lessens the pain a bit.

OK. I'm the opposite. I've worked hard to cut out the negativity and focus on positives...much healthier that way, at least for me. But, you do you!

Sounds like two opposing cults. Reality encompasses the dark and the light. Did Yoda teach you nothing?

Includes a video of Waddle doing an agility drill. No evidence of an ankle issue to my eyes. Dude looks explosive.

The change of direction is incredible. Looks like he's being controlled with a joystick.

Yeah, that is some serious video game action. The Dolphins have never had a player like Waddle. Let's just hope he stays healthy, because he could be a major weapon.

I still think Devonta Smith would've been the much better pick and player. Yes, I'm dying on that hill.

I love Devonta, but he's an Eagle. No point worrying about him now. Full speed ahead on Waddle!
Re: Waddle Limp
I'm worried about the ankle in that once you hurt your ankle it's easier to reinjure it. Personally, I'm happy with my ankles of steel.
But I'm with JMP in that all reports and video shows him having no affect from the injury at this time.

Re: Waddle Limp
If it makes anyone feel better, while at Alabama both Kenyan Drake and Derrick Henry had the same type of ankle surgery that Waddle had. I know you have to look at each case differently, but I'd say that's a good sign moving forward...neither player has shown any long-term effects.
