High powered offense
Will Miami be capable of putting up 35-40 points this season if it's necessary? Looking at scores this weekend there were a lot of teams that scored upper 30's. Every team that scored 16 points or less lost.

Looking at the schedule and the Miami defense, I'd say it is unlikely that the Phins will need to score 35-40 points to win any game this season - with the Bucs game being the most likely. But are they capable of doing so if needed? Absolutely. As the season goes on, this passing game will get better and better as Tua and the receivers get their timing down and the OL improves.
We saw yesterday that the offense is committed to throwing deep, and once they start hitting on those bombs - like the pass to Wilson that was knocked away or the pass that Parker dropped - points are going to come in bunches. The development of Waddle will be key as well. If he hadn't dropped that one sideline pass, he might have taken it to the house. He is going to be a big-time playmaker, sooner than later. And don't forget - Will Fuller comes back for game 2. Once he works into the mix, good luck covering all our receivers.
It may not happen right away, but it's coming.

I am interested to see what happens when we have Fuller, Waddle, Parker, and Wilson on the field. 3 speed demons will be hard to match up against.

Hopefully having them on the field will open up the middle of the defense as well. Gesicki didn't play much yesterday as the coaches focused on protection, but he could have some huge games when we use those speed packages.
The big question is, how much time will Fuller need to adjust to this offense? My guess is he'll be used primarily on simple go routes next week as they work him in...curious to see how much he actually plays.
We also need to see more of those quick slants to Parker...the Pats couldn't stop it at all yesterday - not sure why we didn't just keep doing it over and over.

Absolutely, Miami has the weapons, now they just gotta give Tua time to utilize them. better oline protection and commitment to an effective run game will help open things up for sure.
