This Team Is Really Bad Empty Re: This Team Is Really Bad

They may be actually trying to get Philbin fired. It is that bad.

From what I'm reading, Coyle's 2-gap scheme is really not popular with the defensive line, for some reason.

In any case, it's clear this staff has long since lost the players. What we are seeing is an organization experiencing leadership failure.

A good contrast for Miami this season is the Giants. They blew two games they could - hell SHOULD - have won against Dallas and Atlanta. Did the wheels come off? No. Coughlin and Manning are strong enough leaders, with the confidence of the roster, that they took Washington easily and handed the Bills a pretty big loss yesterday. Now they are tied for the division lead as Dallas starts to sink without Romo.

This team cannot overcome adversity because the leadership isn't there. The wheels will come off this wagon in 2015, big time. It's going to be a really ugly season - we haven't seen anything yet. The quicker Ross/Tannebaum/Hickey whoever the hell is running this team settles on an interim solution after firing Philbin, the better we can stop the bleeding and start developing players for next year. This one is already lost, and I'm confident we're getting no improvement out of the guys on the field.
