Duke Johnson
SO...I had a sneaking suspicion about something and I checked it out. And it turns out that...my suspicion was correct. Believe it or not this was Duke Johnson's first career 100-yard rushing game No, seriously. And furthermore, he'd never even managed 80 yards rushing in any game before!

On the other hand, from 2015-19 only two RBs in the league had more receptions.

This is how dire Grier had made the RB room before the season--that a 28-year old 7-year journeyman known far more for receiving than running can waltz in and easily be the best RB on the team after just a couple of weeks! And Lindsay would probably be even better if he didn't keep having stuff happen to keep him from playing. He at least has a couple of thousand-yard seasons on his resume.
I've got nothing against Gaskin BTW. I like Gaskin. But he was a 7th rounder for a reason. Picking Taylor over Iggy would've changed *everything* about this offense and this team. For one thing they'd have started closer to 7-1 than 1-7.

Re: Duke Johnson
Duke was great in college. He has been an excellent receiver in the NFL but I haven't seen him run like this since he was at the U! Hopefully he can keep it up.

Here's the thing--Johnson is actually the Cane's all-time leader in rushing yards. Think about that for a minute or three considering all the great backs that team's had. But even then he could catch the ball, he has more receptions and yards than any of the other top 16 rushing yardage leaders.

The Duke with the juke! I believe we wanted Duke to be drafted by Miami.
