How Big Has This Turnaround Been?
It's not *just* the switch from 1-7 to 8-7. Oh no. It's much more than that.
After the first 8 games this team was 29th in point differential, 28th in scoring, and 29th in points allowed. They were legitimately awful, even with the 3 losses I won't talk about. Even the JAGS at that time had a better PD

But in the last 7 games it's been literally almost the complete opposite. In that span they have the 5th best point differential (one behind the Pats and two behind the Colts), and have allowed fewer points than anybody Even the rise from 28th to 14th in scoring is steep and significant.

This is not a team doing things with Gase-style smoke and mirrors, barely scraping by only because the opponent sucks a little less. This is legit. And if literally any other team was performing this same way over the same time frame, they'd be getting fellated by the media. But since it's the Fins and Tua we have to endure this fake narrative that somehow they've just been "lucky" and will get crushed by the "real" teams remaining--which includes one they've already beaten on the road!
And IMO a 17-point win is a 17-point win regardless of whether it's 20-3 or 48-31.

I want next week to be the revenge bowl. Let me start by saying I DO NOT want Tanny seriously hurt but I do want to see our D pound the crap out of him and knock him out of the game. I want to see him get sacked and fumble 3 times. I want to see him air out long passes for incompletions or ints. If he runs I want to see him knocked back 5 yards. I want the Tanny I suffered to watch for 7 years.

Re: How Big Has This Turnaround Been?
Well said by both of you!
It is truly mind-boggling how no one gives us any credit. Meanwhile, we still hear about the "great" Mac Jones - who has played like complete crap when his team needs him the most. He completely shit the bed at home against Buffalo in a must-win situation, but no one talks about that. When it comes to the Dolphins, it's all "Tua sucks", "they haven't beaten anybody", "it's all luck", blah blah blah. What a bunch of crap.
As for Tannehill, I fully expect a bunch of sacks and a couple of fumbles and picks, because that's what he does. Just have to watch AJ Brown, because Tannehill loves to throw up those desperation heaves to him and he's so damn big and strong that he gets them more often than not.

Agree on AJ Brown.
We are paying X Howard for games like this. Shadow him and shut him down!

That's the thing...we're winning these games convincingly, not just squeaking by. But no one cares.
Well, fuck 'em all - just win.
