Phins sign DT Justin Ellis to PS

So the Phins released safety Verone McKinley from the practice squad and added beast DT Justin Ellis. I LOVE this move. Ellis has been on my radar all season. He's a GIGANTIC veteran nose tackle ...gotta be 340+ pounds. He's strong and has tons of experience. This is not a guy that is going to be on the field for 40 plays a game and rack up tackles and sacks. What he is: a space-eater that tangles up offensive linemen. This is the type of player we needed on the DL. Can't wait till he's up to speed.

Adding savvy defensive veterans like JPP and Ellis reminds me of what the Eagles did last season when they brought in Suh and Hargrave late in the season last year. These are guys that have seen it all and add veteran leadership as we prepare for a postseason run.

Raekwon's replacement next year perhaps? Hmmm...
