Rooting for 1-15
At this point it's all I have left for this team. Would have been better off with Dan Cambell. The team will never win with Tannehill and we need the top pick for a QB.

Better not say this on the other site, you'll get banned for life and possibly have an angry mob at your door with torches and pitchforks
BTW I'm rooting for 1-15 too. Of course this team has proven many times in the past that it even sucks at sucking.

I seem to recall them thrashing this same team with Campbell last season. Just sayin'.

They had a little fight in them. They don't even have that

I can't approve of any QB in this years draft yet. Maybe Kizer.

it is either draft a QB or be stuck with Tannehill for another year.

Re: Rooting for 1-15
1-15 but only if it's a new front office making the picks. With that draft position, Tannenbaum trading away our 3rd and 4th round picks is criminal negligence.
Fire him.
Fire him.

Re: Rooting for 1-15
sad to say, but i think even Joe Philbin could've done a better job to this point in the season that Gase has done. so, if indeed the Phins do go 1-15 (like Cam Cameron) does Gase survive the off-season? does Tannenbaum make Gase the scape goat?

Re: Rooting for 1-15
The REAL burning question is, will the local media make themselves look like utter fools again the way they did when they actually advocated keeping Cam after '07?
Yes, this was a real thing, and I'll never forget it. Some of them even went so far as to say the team would be idiots for NOT keeping Cam. Something about "continuity."

Re: Rooting for 1-15
Very interesting question, actually.
Ross has a tough decision to make if he does want to make a change.
Two sides of the coin. Can anyone, with a straight face, say that Tannenbaum and Grier did a good enough job in the draft and free agency?
At the same time, this is Gase rookie season as head coach. Vance Joseph is in his rookie year as a defensive coordinator. Can you make the argument that your staff is just overmatched?
You could go in either direction here and probably sell it to the fan base. Those that are still listening, anyways.
IMO Ross will keep the status quo, citing continuity and the time to setup the team right. It's probably not the worse decision - suck for even a few years and you can stock up on no-miss prospects in the draft. I expect Tunsil will have a very good career, add a few more and THEN sweep out the regime, you might have enough talent on the roster to execute a quick turnaround with the right front office in place.
Of course, getting the right front office in place is the key in this equation. Me, I'm thinking it's not Tannenbaum and might not be Grier. We have so many problems, it's difficult determining where to place the blame for this mess.

I think Gase will survive another year as long as Tannebaum is around and also Ross doesn't like to get rid of coaches that fast. The truth is Ross needs to go for Miami to be good again.

This, X 1000.
Re: Rooting for 1-15
Either Ross goes, or he starts trying out the "make decisions like a fan" thing, because "getting a football guy" and "listening to football people" is not working at all.

Re: Rooting for 1-15
I'm calling it now, the Fins are 1-12 when Tannehill finally gets hurt, Moore comes in and "wins" the final three games. Ross then decides that hey, since they finished the season so strong they're "not that far away" and keeps everybody.
