First Miami Mock draft:
Even though this is from a couple days back before the loss here who they got Miami going after:

I would still go for this pick especially since Miami's secondary suck ass. Tannehill might be horrible but I believe that Miami can find a good QB in the second round.

If he's the best player on the board why not? Corner is a need

Re: First Miami Mock draft:
They missed the part where Tannenbaum trades our No. 1 away for Teddy Bridgewater.

Also for the record, I don't want a GOOD QB. I want a GREAT one. So, if the BPA is a QB, then take the god damned QB and forget the word "value", because a great QB is more valuable than any pick at any position.

Looks like a deep CB draft. I think BPA in the first is a must, but hoping we can get a QB. It's a position still unsolved, for 17 years now.

With no solution for QB, nothing else matters IMHO.
I suspect Tannensh1tbaum does something "clever" though like trading down and getting two players again.
This franchise has Epic Fail at every facet IMO.
The name needs to be changed to the Miami Epic Failures.
Sigh

well here some news......

why the hell would you pick up the guy that got burned by Jones.
Joe Pantorno wrote:Third-year cornerback Bene Benwikere ended his short period of unemployment Monday when the Miami Dolphins claimed him on waivers, according to Tom Pelissero of USA Today. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirmed the report.
Pelissero later reported the New York Jets and Washington Redskins also put in claims on Benwikere.

Have you seen our starting corners? That's why.
Julio Jones makes a lot of secondaries look bad.

I just want to know what horrible thing Benwikere did to deserve being signed by THIS team. I don't recall reading anything about him slapping women around, driving drunk, etc. but then again so many players commit felonies these days he might've just slipped through the cracks.

Of course!
Last season he battled a hamstring injury and a high ankle sprain, and ended the season on IR with a broken leg. He even missed the beginning of training camp this year as he recovered.

And there, my good friend, you have it.

He got AWARDED to the Phins on the waiver wire.
I am sure he probably thought about retiring rather than come to this toxic radioactive medical waste dumpster fire of a team.
But then again, Dim Boob Ross' money spends just like the money from a good owner's team, so....
It is probably a threat nowadays..."You better shape up or I am gonna cut your ass, and you know the Dolphins are looking for a CB."
"Aiiieeeee! No! Please, anything but that!"
sigh

Re: First Miami Mock draft:
Nobody in the world is right for Miami. I dont know how many times i have said this..............Miami has NOOOOOOOO Identity as a football team.
IT IS ABSURD to think that we can get anybody here without even having an identity. Thats the same problem we are having now, personnel vs. scheme.
GASE needs to identify the position which he wants to build around. If its the QB then so be it. There is no other way to do this.
If you don't have an identity as a team how do you know which personnel fit?

Re: First Miami Mock draft:
You said it exactly Umix, Miami has to find themselves. If he wants this team to be a offensive team then he needs to build a team that is scoring 50 - 60 points a game or have the ability to. If he wants this team to be a Defensive team then he needs to build a defense that will kill the offense hopes and dreams.

Re: First Miami Mock draft:
They continue to hire head coaches with no identity themselves, and the team is a reflection of that. I swear, they open up a box of melba toast and then look for the coach who is closest in personality to it.
