Billy Turner to be Released

WOW!!! Turner and Thomas were even worse than we all thought!!! Apparently their very presence on the roster caused EVERY aspect of the team to suck!!!

The Ravens only signed Turner initially as insurance because they had three injured linemen. At least one of the linemen was healthy enough to suit up, so it lessened the need for Turner.

Anyway, Turner has now been picked up by the Broncos.

Back to trading Landry. If I'm Dallas I'd give a 1st and second for Landry. Talk about young talent with Dak, Zeke and Landry.

Miami could trade Landry then have Tannebaum trade away our picks for someone crappy. I say Hell NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO, no team is giving up a first for Landry, let alone a first and second.  And I think the Dolphins need to keep their best player, not dump him.

Well I agree but if I was Jerry Jones i would be on the phone. Landry is a PERFECT fit in Dallas.

Yeah, I do agree with that - Landry definitely fits that Dallas offense, especially the way they're using Dak with a 'safe' passing game.

Absolutely.  I didn't say it was bad - that Dallas offense is excellent.  What I meant was, they're not asking Dak to do too much.  Their running game is top-notch and Dak can throw high-percentage passes off play-action all day.  It's a well-oiled machine right now.  It'll be interesting to see what happens if/when they face a team that can stop their running game - that will be the true test for Dak.

You do need to keep some young cornerstone players, because a turnaround doesn't have to take 5 years. As a matter of fact, it should never take more than 3 to be in the playoffs with the current system.

Otherwise, you can't do it, because by the time you develop some guys, you can't keep them all because they'll get overpaid in Free Agency. So, I say keep Landry and pay him.

I'd consider getting anything for Parker. I'm just not sold on the kid. He's got all the talent in the world, but there's something off there right now. Maybe the light goes on. We'll see.

Parker just plays too soft.  His route running is awful, and he rarely fights for the ball.  Big disappointment so far - just too inconsistent.

Some other coaches were saying that about him as well. He need to get his weight up if he wants to last in the NFL.

The decision to let Thomas and Turner go might wind up being the single smartest one in Fins franchise history if this sudden inexplicable, unexplainable winning thing keeps up.

Amazing what happens when you replace two of the worst-performing offensive linemen in modern football with, well, anyone.
