Stills thinks NE is afraid of Miami

Stills said reports in Boston of a running dialogue with Tom Brady during Sunday’s Patriots-Dolphins game was “taken out of context.”
According to NBC Sports Boston, Stills told Patriots players during Sunday’s game “You’re afraid of us” and that Miami would beat New England if the Dolphins (who are second in the NFL in penalties) were more disciplined.
According to NBC Sports Boston, Stills admitted after the game he was “hollering” at Brady throughout New England’s 35-17 win. “We feel like if we can get in his head, that’s the best way to try and win this game,” Stills said. “I was trying to do my part.”
NBC also reported that Stills and Brady exchanged words after Miami nearly sacked him, and after Brady then threw an interception, Stills jumped up and down on Miami’s sideline and pointed to his own helmet.

The best way to beat the Patriots is to get into Brady's head??? Really??? How about actually, you know, beating them??? Maybe start by scoring more than one offensive TD.
Trust me, Kenny - the Patriots aren't afraid of you. If anything, this just shows how scared the Phins are of the Patriots...they know they can't actually beat them, so they have to rely on junior high antics to somehow "get in their heads". This team is such an embarrassment.

I agree 100% with Stills.
I also think that the Harlem Globetrotters are afraid of the Washington Generals, the Road Runner is afraid of Wile E. Coyote, and the football is afraid that Charlie Brown is going to kick it.

Unfortunately that's how everybody is these days. Some random person insults you and before you even have a chance to do anything they're strutting around bragging that they "got in your head!" and what's worse, everyone else believes them!

I actually believe that last one. That's why the football always sends a telepathic signal to Lucy to yank it away at the last instant. Think about it.

We're not going to do that.
We actually hit him pretty well in the last game. Unfortunately, we had so many busted coverages he was able to feast on receivers running wide open through our defense. That's just not going to get it done.

That's the thing - if you blitz Brady, you damn well better have tight coverage across the board. If not, he'll tear you apart.

It's the often part. If you get to Brady early, he'll make a mistake or two, but after they get in the locker room and get all the defensive calls they've recorded in the first half, he'll tear you apart, unless your coach knows about all that, and has separate second-half calls.

To be honest the Patriots have their worst games against the Fins no matter how bad Miami is. SO the fact that Kenny Stills said it might be accurate but at the same time that doesn't mean that Miami will beat them every year.

The Pats definitely didn't have one of their worst games last week! They scored 5 TDs and had more rushing yards than they've had in 3 years, and they held the Phins' offense to just 10 points. I expect more of the same next week.

Patriots have won 5 out of the last 6 against us, and that 18 point laugher last week was only the 4th largest margin of defeat during that string. We've lost by 29,28,21,18 and 7 during that string, and managed to win a meaningless season finale against a team just trying to stay healthy for the playoffs in 2015.
This series is embarrassingly one-sided and has been, really, since we made our respective new coaching hires after the 1999 season.
