Hated him when the Phins played him, but he was a MONSTER of a TE and really seemed to enjoy the game of football. One of the best all-around TEs ever; people rarely talk about it, but he was an absolute beast as a blocker in addition to being an amazing receiver. His numbers were insane, and it's scary to think what he could have done if he hadn't missed so many games.

if...i mean, when the Patriots make another Super Bowl run this year, we'll see Gronk again...

We got a proviso to Rob Gronkowski’s retirement on Monday. Agent Drew Rosenhaus said he might be open to returning to the Patriots at some point in the season. Imagine if he returned for the last six games of the regular season. That would lessen the wear on Gronk’s body and provide the Patriots with a playoff bonus.

I see Gronk returning if the Pat's are struggling which means that the Pat's are nothing without Gronk which put the label G.O.A.T on Brady at risk.

I could see him returning if he feels better and is able to stay in football shape, but IMO it's a longshot. Football has taken a huge toll on his body, and he's still young enough that he can enjoy the rest of his life. No real reason for him to come back, but I guess you never know.
