Tough to limit to 5...other favorites are Bowens, Duper/Clayton, McDuffie, Madison, Betters, Webb, Duhe...sure I'm forgetting some.
Oh, and NOT Jay Fielder.

HEY!!! That's cheating!!!
All I can say for sure is that the only two real faves I've had in the last 15 years are Welker and Wake. Pennington is on the Honorable Mention list for rescuing the '08 team, but he really only had that one good season and didn't even throw 20 TD passes. He's still the most competent QB this team has had post-Marino though IMO so that has to count for something.
Now that I think more about it, Zach would have to be my fave from the list of those who played from the time I became a serious fan in '82. Yes, even more so than Marino. I just identified with him so much more than any other player in so many ways.

There’s so many honorable mentions.
Tony Nathan, Andra Franklin, David Woodley, Zach Thomas, Cameron Wake, Nat Moore. Fitzpatrick is creeping in. He reminds of players from yesteryear

Yep, that's why I have Zach number one. I loved the fact that he was a small guy that no one gave a chance to, and he just kept kicking ass.

I still get nauseous thinking about the HORRIFIC trade for Feeley and the GODAWFUL pick of Pat White. Two of the Dolphins' worst moves ever.
Re: Name your favorite 5 Dolphins players of all time
Pat White should have stayed with baseball but I just saw that he is a RB coach for USF

Jay Fiedler of course.
But how does everyone always forget WR Greg Camarillo? And the QB that threw the 64 yard game winning TD pass to him in OT vs Baltimore; Cleo Lemon?
That one win kept the 2007 Phins from being 0-16.

You're absolutely right. My shame knows no bounds, I stand chastened and rebuked I should've listed him as one of my faves from the start.

I always liked Dwight Stephenson too. His career was cut short by one of the dirty, cheapshot, chicken-shyte Jets players of whom there have been too many to name.

Yeah Dwight was awesome.
I think it was Marty Lyons with the cheap shot, wasn't it?
Re: Name your favorite 5 Dolphins players of all time
Yeah, but Dwight afterward said it was clean play.
Class all the way. And a center who could handle a nosetackle all by himself.

As I recall, the injury happened way behind the play and was totally unnecessary - a dirty cheap shot for sure. But yes, Big Dwight was all class. The Hall of Fame committee did the right thing by getting him in despite the short career.
Re: Name your favorite 5 Dolphins players of all time

Forgot Ray Finkle, If not for him Marino wouldn’t have been in Ace Ventura.
